This 2021 Mr. Happy £5 coin is the first in a 3 coin series to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Mr. Men Little Miss. Dedicated to Roger Hargreaves’ beloved collection of colourful characters this new collection features Mr. Happy, Mr. Strong, Little Miss Giggles and Little Miss Sunshine.
Inspired in 1971 by a playful breakfast-table conversation between a father and his son, Mr. Men Little Miss has become one of the most recognised children’s book series in the United Kingdom and around the world.
Each release is available as an Uncirculated Coin, Uncirculated Colour Coin, Half-Ounce Silver Proof Coin (Limited Edition 9,000), One Ounce Silver Proof Coin (Limited Edition 6,500), Quarter-Ounce Gold Proof Coin (Limited Edition 750) and One Ounce Gold Proof Coin (Limited Edition 275).
