This 2021 The Remembrance Day £5 honours the fallen during the First and Second World Wars and pays tribute to those who worked, fought and died for the Allied cause thousands of miles from home.
Developed in collaboration with Imperial War Museums (IWM), The Remembrance Day 2021 UK £5 Coin features a reverse design created by the acclaimed artist Gary Breeze. Alongside symbolic red poppies, the coin carries an inscription from the famous fourth stanza of Laurence Binyon’s enduring poem ‘For the Fallen’, a tribute to those who died during the First World War.
