This 2022 The Queens Reign Charity and Patronage £5 celebrates The Queen’s contribution to society over her 70-year reign, the second coin in the collection highlights her lifetime of charitable work.
The £5 coin features an original reverse design by the artist and illustrator P. J. Lynch that shows the traditional Maundy coins, with an inscription on the coin’s reverse that reads ‘HER CHARITY AND HER PATRONAGE’. It is struck to a finer finish than circulating coins.
