This 2024 Bond Films of the 1980s £5 is the third Six Decades of 007 coin and features the Bede BD-5J ‘Acrostar’ plane from Octopussy. The design includes the famous 007 logo, stylised as it appeared in the 1980s and backed by the title of each of the decade’s Bond films.
Consistent with the collection, the gun barrel that appears at the opening of every 007 movie once again borders the design. The coin is accompanied by informative packaging detailing the transition from Roger Moore to Timothy Dalton.
