This 2020 Hylaeosaurus 50p is the last release in the Dinosauria Collection. The Hylaeosaurus was the first armoured dinosaur ever discovered by Dr Gideon Mantell. British anatomist Richard Owen proposed the term ‘Dinosauria’ in 1842 and this comprised the first three dinosaurs to be discovered – the Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, and Hylaeosaurus.
