This 2022 Kanga and Roo 50p is the eighth coin in the popular Winnie the Pooh and Friends UK 50p Coin Collection inspired by A. A. Milne’s timeless tales. The design features an original E. H. Shepard illustration, many of which have helped bring the adventures of Winnie the Pooh and his friends to life.
Kanga and Roo seemed to appear in the Hundred Acre Wood from nowhere. Their mysterious arrival was treated with suspicion and it soon led to a prank, where Piglet was substituted for baby Roo, much to his dismay! Luckily, Kanga saw the funny side and pretended to play along.
