This 2022 The Snowman and The Snowdog 50p celebrates the 30th anniversary of the release of The Snowman film, it was announced that a much-anticipated animated sequel would air in 2012.

To celebrate ten years since the film’s release, The Snowdog appears on this UK 50p coin for the first time. In support of His Majesty The King’s ambition for a sustainable transition, this coin is struck with Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s effigy.
