This 2024 Tyrannosaurus 50p celebrates one of the most legendary dinosaurs of all time and the most ferocious predators in history, the almighty Tyrannosaurus. The first release in the latest Tales of the Earth collection features a new design based on a jawbone specimen held at the Natural History Museum.
The reverse has been designed by Robert Nicholls, the artist behind the existing Tales of the Earth collections and both the coin design and packaging illustrations are based on scientifically accurate reconstructions.
