The classic characters of the Hundred Acre Wood are appearing on 50p UK coins for the first time. The series begins with Winnie the Pooh (enjoying a ‘smackeral of honey’), Christopher Robin and Piglet will follow later in 2020, and more friends will join them over the next two years completing a 9 coin collection.

The 2020 Winnie the Pooh 50p coin is available as a 50p Brilliant Uncirculated Coin, 50p Brilliant Uncirculated Colour Coin (Limited Edition 45,000), Silver Proof Coin (Limited Edition 18,000) and Gold Proof Coin (Limited Edition 525).
As of they it has not been confirmed if any of these coins will go into circulation – let’s hope so!
