This was a pretty busy hunt with a lot of different commemorative 50p coins. Two 2016 Squirrel Nutkin’s were very nice, and we do not often find 2013 Benjamin Britten 50p coins.
The Star Find was the 2011 WWF 50p which is the first one we have ever found. With a mintage of 3,400,000 and value of £2.00 it should be a pretty common coin to find but because the design looks fantastic there are not too many still out in the wild. An exciting find!
