The Annual Sets collection offers collectors and enthusiasts an opportunity to secure a number of the year’s best commemorative coins. For 2020, those monumental stories include some of Britain’s most iconic personalities and moments.
It includes five 2020 commemorative designs, as well as this year’s eight definitive coins A memorable year filled with several inspiring stories, all in one collection Finished to Brilliant Uncirculated standard.
What really stands-out in this years collection is the 2020 Team GB coin, which is only available in this annual set. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this year’s Olympic Games have been postponed until 2021. Therefore there will be two versions of the coin, One with the obverse dated 2020 from this year’s Annual Coin Set and one with the obverse dated 2021 for next year’s individual release.
The reverse design by David Knapton currently depicts the individual Olympic sports accompanied by the Olympic Rings, the Team GB logo, with the inscription ‘TEAM GB’.
Far fewer of the 2020 version will be minted than if it were individually released making it highly sought after by collectors!
